Google Lens
Google Lens is a visual search and image recognition tool from Google that lets you explore the world through your camera or existing photos. Instead of typing what you want to search for, you can point your phone’s camera at an object, a sign, a plant, animal, or even something in a photo, and Lens will analyze what it sees and surface relevant information: identification of objects, translated text, shopping suggestions, or similar images online.
Lens is integrated into many of Google’s products like Google Photos, the Camera app on compatible devices, Chrome, and the Google app. It supports features such as real‑time translations of text in more than 100 languages, copying text from images, recognizing landmarks, animals, or plants, and helping with homework by pulling up explanations based on what you photograph. The goal is to make information immediately accessible wherever you are, simply by seeing it.
